One day my disabled mother in law got a random package in the mail. It contained sunglasses and a watch of extremely poor quality. There was a hand typed note saying she received free products. It had no contact info with it of any kind to return items. She was charged 2 separate charges from 2 separate companies days after but they were small amount like $5 and $6. She didn't notice those charges because we had a lot of similar priced charges coming out at that time that we had done for local stores ect. Then last Friday this company took out $99.56 and put another $99.99 pre authorization on the debit card. When we called up this company and its some bogus call center. They said my Mother In law signed up for a 2 week trial and they had sent emails to look in the junk folder. I got mad and hung up and not 10mins later this woman calls me up saying she had spoke to the bank and they confirmed all our info including our IP address. I knew it was a lie because my husband was currently at the bank disputing the charges. I demanded out money back and that I was willing to send these products back. She said she would have to keep a ten dollar restalking charge to eat item. Later on i decided to check the email there was necer any email about a 2 week free trial or saying they closed the account. So I decided to call the number the lady had called me back from instead of the fake call center number. Some little old lady answered. All in all they had spoofed it to make it look as if they were calling from this old.ladies number so I wouldn't know where they were really.calling from. Then when u called back the call center and telling them I know this is a fraud they told me I was black listed from the company and I no longer needed to send the products back. I did get 2 refunds of 89 dollars. So even though my Mother In law is only out 30 dollars or so I can just imagine most people won t fight as yard as me woth these frauds because they make you think it's your fault for signing up.for a.free trial they Never even signed up for. They are using a hardly legal smoke screen for strait up fraud and are targeting the elderly and disabled.
