It started on May 31st. I had called thinking this was the Bird's Nest Lodge. They told me they have a cabin called the Wolf cabin for the June 1st and June 2nd and I booked it, gave them my credit card number. Not even 15 minutes later, I get a phone call that my dad passed away. I called them to cancel it immediately. I thought everything was taken care of. When I got back home from the funeral, it had processed through my bank. I called them and they said they are making sure it was cancelled out. I called on June 3. She said if you have any problems call my husband Richard. He said I paid by check and I told him no I did not pay by check. He said he didn't see anything under my name. He said he would see what he could do. I called them again and they got real mouthy with me. I Googled The Bird's Nest Lodge and it was the same picture but it was weird. I was told these people have been lying to people and taking their money. The Bird's Nest Lodge said they have been doing this to a lot of people. Jason McCormick told me to call the Better Business Bureau. They are ripping people off and lead people down the river and not picking them up. He was not aware that their phone number was showing up under his lodge.
