Ali Farrell, or so she called herself, offered and interview for a position at her company resulting in a job offer of 34 dollars an hour. She then proceeded to say that a check would be fed ex'd to me in which I had 24 hrs to deposit and transfer the funds to a third party vendor. The check was for almost 5 thousand dollars so I took it to the bank to be examined and they said that it was fraudulent. What most people do not know is that banks will clear the money from a check within 24 hrs making funds available even though the check does not actually clear fir 3-5 days. So this scam takes advantage of that knowledge and makes you think you are sending them money for software etc. to get started working at home meanwhile you are responsible for the check once it bounces.
