Received fax at the office addressed to a previous CEO that hasn't been with our organization for over 20 years. It states that it is coming from a David Bradley who is the co-founder of Ramsdems Law Firm in UK. He goes on to say that there is an unclaimed "permanent life insurance policy" held by their deceased client. The unclaimed "Payable-on-Death" (POD) savings monetary deposit is $9,820,000US and because they have not been able to locate any relatives, they are wanting our former CEO from over 20 years ago to be the beneficiary of the claim because the CEO and their client share the same last name, which is a fairly common last name. Of course they want the intended recipient of the fax to be discreet about the transaction and not to share with a third party without the approval of Mr. David Bradley. David Bradley and Ramsdems Law Firm in the UK appears to be legitimate and the scammer is claiming to be him but uses a different email and phone number for contact.
