Received an e-mail days ago with job details then a text days later stating “Hello, I am Mr. David Mark, a Recruiter from (UNITE US). Your résumé has been reviewed on INDEED and you have been shortlisted for an Online Interview with us for the Data Entry Clerk, Customer service and Administrative Assistant position we have available for you to occupy. Reply "YES I AM" if interested for more details. Thank you!”

Realized it was a scam when they stated it wouldn’t be a video interview a reading reviews .

I was looking for a job on LinkedIn when a number contacted me. He said we should do a quick zoom text meeting which I thought was suspicious. The offer was too good to be true so I looked up the number online and found that people have been scammed by him before . Be on the look out

I applied through indeed and they sent me a message on my phone from +1 (917) 905-2171 and it was another man named mr. Connor. Then this man told me to send my email address and a mr Jim Baer was gonna to send me an invite through ZOOM . THE PROCESS WENT FAST LIKE I WAS THINKING OIKE WHY ARE WE DOING AN INTERVIEW THROUGH CHAT . like that’s weird . As soon as he said I’m going to send a check to buy the materials for your equipment I SAID OH NAH! . Like what kind of company doesn’t just send everything . That’s crazy ! Then he went from $18 for training to $20 like what in the world u got going on ?! Didn’t have no explanation or nothing about why it was changed . The CRAZY PART IS WHEN I BLOCKED THE ZOOM CHAT the recruiter from the beginning messaged me and said “mr Jim Baer is waiting for your response “ like come on now u the same person! Blocked him too !

They offered a work at home job and sent a fraudulent check for me to buy the materials I would need to set up my home office.

I recieved an email offering me a job doing data entry from home in my account that I have connected to Indeed. The email looked a little fishy, but I figured maybe it was a glitch or something. I just had to contact the hiring manager via google hangouts for my online interview. During the interview everything sounded too good to be true. $30 an hour! new laptop! I couldn't believe it. But i did because i was desperate for a job. the next morning i started my "training" which really was just printing out my application and contract and scanning them after filling them out. i could tell my "training supervisor" was getting impatient while i was struggling to get my printer to work. he confirmed my address and then informed me i'd be recieving a check today. when i got it he was insisting i cash it immediately so i could spend it tomorrow at the "approved vendors". thats when i noticed something was up with the check. it wasn't from Rally Health. it was from Park Lanes Bowling. And the check has words misspelled.
