I put a computer keyboard for sale on Facebook Marketplace today. Within an hour I had a text message from an "Angie" asking for a phone number so I could send a 6 digit code to verify I was authentic seller. I also gave my wife's phone number because it was stated that my phone number was invalid. I texted another 6 digit code and then realized I was scammed. I deleted the messages within 1.5 hours and changed our cell number with our service provider. We are worried that with our cell numbers (which since has been disconnected) will be used to obtain financial information from us or our contacts.
