Radova lifestyle requires a $500 deposit -- all refundable if you cancel within 48 hours. We were told that verbally. Three times. Yet when we cancelled -- not less than 12 hours later -- we were told they charge a $50 "credit card processing fee," which is equal to a 10% processing fee. That's insane. An ATM fee is now $3.50. A paypal transaction: 2.8%. Our mortgage lender didn't even charge us %10 for a process that is many times more complex.

Fine, you say, but surely they must have warned you. Well, no. Not verbally. Not when we swiped the card. Not when we signed the receipt. Not when they walked us through the cancellation policy. And far from the clear, conspicuous language you would expect, the only warning we've been made aware of is on a receipt we signed of which we have yet to receive despite asking for it.
