Rachel's Kittens Reports & Reviews (5)

My son, only 16 at the time, found Rachel's Kittens and immediately fell in love with one of them on the website. He works so hard for his money so my wife and I asked him to do some research first. At the time, there were several good reviews and this page of those scammed by them did not exist. The story, like the others is the same. Pay the money through Cash App, ect., and them get thrown for a loop with the insurance payment or they will keep the kitten in quarantine for 6 months. My sons paid that too despite our cautioning him. I even spoke with the "owner" and the "shipping company" during this whole process but my son was determined this was real. He spent over $800 which was most of what he had saved. In the long run, this was a fairly inexpensive lesson for him to learn but I am very angry with those that would take advantage of people in this way. I see that the website is no longer so there's some consolation in that too. I hope that they're found and held accountable.

Website has remained unchanged with the "available" kittens still available for the past 6 months without a change in their advertised ages. Insists on payment through Zelle, Western Union, PayPal (as friends & family).

Scammer uses a fake shipping company, Global Logistics Express, with a fake tracking number. The shipping company sends a follow-up email stating a refundable insurance fee of $1000 is required in order to insure the live animal and that the money will be refunded upon delivery. If the money is not paid, the animal may be kept in quarantine for six months.

BEWARE - a completely fraudulent website! I have been monitoring the website and the kittens that are advertised as available have been the same ones available for the past six months. Their posted ages have remained unchanged.

FAKE breeder! Beware!

Rachel's Kittens advertises kittens that will be delivered via pet freight. Fake shipping company website is also used, Global Logistics Express. The scam goes as far as providing a tracking number. A sudden need for a "refundable" $1000 to cover insurance for the animal is needed or the animal will be held in quarantine for up to six months. Interestingly, the pet I purchased is still available on the website because it was never available in the first place.
