My daughter made a post on Facebook and a lady commented and said her church has received a large Covid grant to help give money to families in need and asked her to inbox her. So my daughter did. She figured it was a scam but wanted to see what she would say. Short story my daughter asked what her church name was, she gave it. I then looked up the church and it was a legit church. I called and spoke with them and they said it was most definitely a scam and they have not received any grant. I then emailed the screenshots to them so they can investigate and inform the authorities. This lady and church is from Texas, we live in the 09 zip code.
