The scammer pretended to represent PayPal and the email said someone had charged my account $475 for Bitcoin. I called them to investigate and cancel the purchase, and they wanted me to download an app called AnyDesk Remote Desktop. My Apply pay wouldn’t allow me to download the app, and they kept repeating that I had to download the app so they could help me. I finally hung up.
