A Facebook ad I came accross selling a self-cleaning litter box. The ad suggested it was a discounted Litter Robot 4 for the whopping discounted price of ??Last Day For Clearance???$33.49. This was awesome as the Litter Robots are very expensive, and I really wanted one. I was also looking for an air mattress for upcoming guests, and the same site had a Queen listed for 39.99 (Easy to set up - Waterproof inflatable bed). I looked into the 'testimonials', shipping info, etc etc and it all seemed legit. So I used my Pre-Paid card and ordered the two items on 4/28/24. The shipping policy was delivery in 18 days and I would receive a tracking number. I received an order confirmation email within an hour of my order, and received a shipping email including the tracking number on 5/2. On 5/16 I contacted the company because the tracking information had not been updated since I received the number. I was told it was in progress to get to me. I asked what shipping company they were using because the Tracking number was not that of DHL which is what the website states it used. After several attempts to get the shipping company info, contacting my local post office, FedEx, UPS, DHL and several oversea's carriers it was obvious that I had been scammed and there was no package. I started demanding a refund for the entire order. I was not originally charged shipping, however in my refund demand they wanted to withhold 50% for shipping and processing which is not what the website explained about Returns/Refunds. Back and forth emails and finally I agreed to an 87% refund. The refund was supposedly processed and I received a bogus confirmation email 6/6 """We will send the refund voucher within 2-5 days. This voucher serves as documented evidence of the refund process. Please expect to receive the funds within 3-7 working day depending on the bank's processing time upon the refund date on the voucher.."" It has obviously been more that that and I have not received any emailed voucher, nothing in the mail and no refund. BEWARE OF ANY SALES ADS, WEIGHT LOSS ADS, ETC ETC ON FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM, OR ANY OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA - 10 out of 10 are some kind of SCAM. I fell for this one; fool me once shame on you. You won't fool me again. Have a nice day.
