My mother searched the internet for Maine [censored] Kittens. She found Pure Maine [censored], they had a list of available kittens. We agreed upon a price and price of shipping $1,000. We paid $500 through Zella and demanded proof of shipping before we paid the remainder. They provided a shipping invoice and tracking number through Multipet Logistics. The web site looked real and the tracking number was interactive. We paid the remaining $500. We expected shipment. We were callled and told there was a $1,000 deposit for the shipping container. At that time we said no, return our money. We have had no contact with them since then.Both websites looked professional and legitimate.
