I received a post card with a delivery notice stating "we have a package for you" in the mail with a call back number 423-425-9263. When I called the number, a lady answered and asked how many times I do laundry in a week, what type of water I had (well or city), if I was renting/owned my house, how many people lived in the home (adults & children). I inquired the reason for this notice and she said it was to deliver tide laundry detergent and test my water making sure it's clean. An appointment was scheduled for the same day.

A man presented to my house carrying two bags; a box briefcase and another big bag. He started of with information in a binder and pulled out the briefcase with testing samples/items. He reviewed the material in the binder as he ran water different tests. In the course of his test, he started talking about their filtration system. I denied the offer but upon inquiring further information of the company he became unhappy. I asked for a business card to follow up later, but he said that they do not advertise on radio, tv or paper because their business is word of mouth. He made a call at the end of his simulation testing to clock out as he stated and was sarcastic with the person on the other end because I turned down their offer stating, "how did you guess that? She's with a husband who is not here".
