I thought I was purchasing a Doberman Puppy from a legitimate Breeder from Houston, TX, but soon found it was a scam. Found puredoberman.com on the web and inquired about one of the pups listed on the site. Individual sent me information on the pup and asked for me to fill out some questions. Filled out questionnaire and I stated I was interested the female pup ”Stella”. To proceed with the transaction, I was sent a purchase contract agreement, which I filled out sign and returned. Went to my online banking website and completed payment through Zelle which is integrated within my online banking. Paid $920.00 for the pup, which included $700.00 for the pup, $120.00 for the ear cropping and $100.00 for transportation.

So called Seller stated ear cropping would be completed on Friday 1/17/20 and delivery would be on 1/18/20. Did not hear from the Transportation Company Flick Logistics – (https://www.flicklogistics.com/), so email Seller and told them I did not receive any email from them for a delivery schedule. It was only about 10 mins later I received the email. In this email it stated that I would have to pay $1,400.00 to insure the pup for shipping. I called the Transportation Company and there was no answer, then within a minute I received a call from an individual, with a foreign accent, stating he received a call from my number. Stated why I was calling and he stated that $1,400 would need to be paid before the pup could be shipped. I stated I had a Purchase contract that states the total amount I had to pay and that the Seller would be responsible to pay any additional cost and that I will not pay for the insurance.

Sent an email to the Seller and he pretty much stated the same thing the Transportation Company said. I then asked for immediate refund and no further communications has been received from the Seller. I have all email correspondence, bank transaction, contact information of the seller and fake Transportation Company information.

I did a little research at this point and found that the Transportation Company is not legitimate Company. The tracking number does not exist and the contact information was a Houston number and address and the Company is supposedly located in California.
