A woman named Sierra ******* started a FB page called "Corgi puppies for adoption and rehoming". She told my daughter she had a corgi puppy to sell near where we lived. She asked for a $150 holding fee, which my daughter paid, but was told she would be refunded if there were any issues with either party. It became clear after begin referred to their "puppyspotz.com" website, and speaking to her husband on the phone, that they did not have a puppy to sell, and they were not knowledgable breeders or dog sellers. When we asked for the refund, they told us they would send it the next day, but it did not come. Now they are blocking our messages and it's clear we will not get that money back. Venmo is investigating, but I feel we are out of the money. Terrible people, but harsh lesson learned for my daughter.
