Online pet store. Website looked legitimate except no address was posted. Seller said I need to use Zelle for payment of pet. Once I completed the transaction, I noticed the last name was not the same last name as the seller advised me. When I questioned him, he said it was his middle name “lol”. I tried to reverse Zelle transaction but I couldn’t because it was already accepted on his end. I tried contacting him after to send me pictures of the dog and got no response. After my research, I realized I had been scammed.

Made a down payment on a puppy found on the site. The number listed on the site was disconnected shortly after we tried to contact it after not receiving information on the puppy transport.

I wanted to find a puppy, and this breeder contacted me online. Puppy Ale Breeders. Used chat to communicate with them, but when I started asking questions, the responses appeared automated. They even send be a short, really short, video of the puppy. When I called the number, I could tell it was a call center. AKC Kennel Club gave me questions to ask ie name and number of the vet that she saw. The person said they were the owner. So I told them again the information I wanted, and he hung up on me. I fell in love with the puppy. I thank God that I was diligent, and discerning. I gave them no money, so the only thing they took from me, was a broken heart.
