We recently suffered the loss of our dog (Cavalier King Charles). This left a huge hole in our hearts. I started to search on line for a breeder and available puppies. I came across the "Puppiesxs.com and started to talked to a "live chat". The website advertised puppies are 50% off due to their 10th year anniversary promotion. The puppy only cost $700 and $200 cost of shipping from Austin, Texas. The puppies are shipped in a crate, in the cabin area, accompanied by a nanny. I was told that the puppy will be shipped in 48 hours after receiving a deposit of $500.00. The balance will be paid when the puppy arrives. The website also shows "All puppies are AKC registered, vet checked, up to date on all shots and come with lifetime health satisfaction guarantee". The Website even mentioned that if the buyer do not care for the AKC registration, they will knock of a $100 from the price. The "live chat " rep asked for my phone number so he can send a video of the puppy I am interested, which he did. I told him I will keep him posted. The next day, I did some research of scam regarding on line purchases on the ScamPulse.com website. The price of the puppy is too good to be true. In learning all the scams reported, I texted the seller and asked him if I can have a video conferencing so I can see the puppy in real time. No response. I texted again and asked what the mode of payment they will accept. But this time they responded and was told "Zelle or Cash App" only. This is the mode of payment by scammers on ScamPulse.com scam tracker. So I texted seller again, and letting them know that "this looks like a scam since they are not accepting credit card payment". NEVER GOT A RESPONSE BACK! Thanks to BBB, I avoided this scam and saved me a lot of money. My advise, do your research first.
