I received a call from a man, Mr. McFarland, claiming to be with the National Gaming Association and that I had won two million dollars and a brand new cadillac. He advised me that I needed to get a non reloadable credit card for $600. he provided me with a confirmation code. He called the next morning to verify that I went out to the store to purchase the card, I told him I had not yet and he said that I need to have the card purchased two hours before my winnings would be delivered to me along with the car at noon. When I called him out on the scam he tried to tell me that the National Gaming Association is associated with Publisher's Clearing House. When I told him that winners are not required to make upfront payments and that this is a scam, he hung up on me.
