Reporting for my dad, a "Mechille Bernard", badge# 3145 called him Fall 2024 to let him know he had won & a $5.8Mil check would be sent to him & he would also get a 2024 Mercedes Benz, as well as a $7,000 monthly bonus for 7 years. They said they would need his DL# & had him get a $500 MoneyPak card. He is disabled & lives on a tight monthly budget but had hope/was gullible. This wasn't the last time this happened unfortunately. We have since had to change bank accounts for him three times & he has recently cleaned out his accounts two months in a row for a similar $8.5Mil/$20 Bonus/$2025 Ford F150 prize & has given away over $5,500 that he didn't have to give & is in fact -$2,500 to Wells Fargo because of it. He has been left two months in a row unable to pay his bills & is drowning but refuses to let me be POA & the doctors can't find anything "cognitively" wrong with him so they can't do a committal & can't afford a conservatorship. :(
