"David Goodman" of "PCH" called to supposedly inform me I've won $1.7 million. All I need do is send $499.25 "for taxes due" via money order and the Prize Patrol will show up at my door within 2 hours. I didn't fall for it.

"Michael Collins" from the "Publishers Clearing House" called and said I'd won $2.5 million and a new red car that would be delivered to me the next day. I was told to call 516-299-9516 or 876-481-1558 before tonight. I would then need to fill out forms to pay $900 in tax fees to the IRS. I was told that sponsors would pay the remainder of the taxes. When I replied that I thought it was a scam, he said that I'd see the big winner on TV tomorrow and my name on the screen as the loser. I hung up.
