Type of a scam Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes
given a identity number 9521US and was told to call them at a certain number and ask to speak to Todd Sloan at my caller id number.
They answered with just a "Hello" and I said I was calling in regard to a PCH sweepstake prize. He said he was the PCH prize manager
and they needed some info from me to verify who I was. When I gave him the 521US he said "okay your first name is.....". and he was right. At that point I didn't give him any more info but said "I've talked to the ScamPulse.com and we know you are a scam so don't ever call me again!" At that
point he hung up and so did I. Incidentally, He said the prize was approved by "The Federal Trade Commission and Certified by the US Govt."
It was a smooth production and probably will fool some older adult, but I hope not. I'm 94, but not easily fooled.
