I purchased a Groupon for a reading end of September 2021.I had a reading with her initially in early October 2021. She requested $199.00 for her services on 10/5, then requested $400.00 on 10/6 and then $1800 on 10/19 (for a material deposit to be refunded within 5 days). She requested another $1800 after that and I didn't pay that. I was under extreme emotional distress during this time because my sister was dying of cancer and she knew that. In total, I paid her $2399 via Zelle from my checking account because she wouldn't take credit cards. Her request for funds was always verbal but she did email me a "receipt" for $1800 for the materials I made a deposit on for her to use. The last time I have heard from her was 11/24/2021 and I have reached out to her via text and email several times since then. I told her I wanted my deposit money back and no response. I don't want anyone else to have to go through this.
