Providence Health Care has received a few calls from community members in Stevens County who have received scam telephone calls from a female claiming she is from Providence and wanting to provide patients with their diabetes packet of information. They may also be asking for payment or additional identifiers.

"Christina from Providence" said that she had the person's name and phone number. Knew that she was also over 70 years old and that she was with Providence. She then asked for the community member to describe their level of pain.

ACTION: If you sense that the person on the other line is not a representative of Providence, PLEASE ASK FOR THEIR CALL-BACK NUMBER and verify it is in fact a Providence location.
