Was hired as a remote position, then sent a check for $3,850 for the purchase of my home office equipment. I was then instructed to send $1,225 to the vendor the company uses via Apple Cash card. Now the check issued has bounced, and I am being held liable for that $1,225, that has now put my checking account in the negative for the amount of $1,127.80
