I was researching the history of the property of my home I purchased in 2020. I paid $1.00 for a report. Thankfully I used a credit card, not my debit card. When the property records report “generated” it reported N/A for all fields which I know is incorrect because I own the home. I panicked and immediately thought I should have known better, this has to be a scam. The “.org” ending made me feel better about it & why I proceeded to enter credit card information because it said it’s free public records but ask for $1.00 to keep up their website. It sounded completely legitimate but now I have a huge nauseous feeling in my gut this was a scam to get personal information. I guess I will know shortly. Praying my card is not maxed out nor identity stolen. Huge red flags after the “generating of report”
