Got contacted by phone to sell timeshare in Mexico, signed into an agreement, After the agreement, we were told about temporary citizenship and tax ID in order to sell the property which we did using wire transfer. Then, we got an invoice for a 16% state tax, which Tammy Clark was an oversight on her part, which allegedly would be reimbursed by the buyer at closing, which we did. We were threatened with consequences not going through with the transaction. Only a day after receiving a call from the escrow agent regarding the receipt of funds and looking forward to the close of escrow, we are being hit again with yet another invoice for recording, at which point we talked to a lawyer, googled the internet and, according to the victims account, those fees will keep coming.
