I met the founder of Project Noosphere at a conference, and we had several discussions about me being a leader for meditations and offering distance healing sessions to an online spiritual science community. He drafted a vague contract that made no mention of these roles, but instead offered a work-trade to build websites and a smart phone app, as well as create a course for the online learning platform. While organizing the online platform, I noticed that >2000 support emails had been ignored over 3 years, and there was no interaction between the “meditation leaders” and the “community members.” During the work-trade, he solicited my research services to contribute to a meditation research study as the team that he had assembled was not competent in the scientific method or NCCIH research guidelines for scientific meditation. He also asked me to write blog articles, which he published and I distributed in their Facebook group to engage the community and promote a online conference that he was hosting with me as a Speaker for the meditation community. He then claimed that I was self-promoting and marketing, and cancelled the contract, which he actually breached as he is currently using IP for meditation research and has not compensated me for this work. The founder of this community attempts to bait and switch using vague contract terms, evades compensating workers with strategic breaching of contracts, and spiritual egotism to defame other’s character with expectations of receiving pro bono work. This community is no more than a website offering overpriced, excessive scientific information for a [censored]ized version of Daoist meditation.
