Please do not use this scammer. Selected them to do car detailing for $149. Seemed like a legitimate service, received call to schedule appointment. Upon arrival a man and woman came to door and explained that they would be detailing my car. She stated that they would check car out and then let me know what additional services I might need. Five minutes later the woman was back and stated something about carpet cleaner and that there were three dents/scratches that they could remove. I went ahead with these two additional services. When asked what the additional costs would be she said she had to call office to get amounts and also they only accept cash. I told her cash was fine but I would need a receipt. She said no problem they would get my email and email receipt once they finished and collected payment. Took them about an hour to do work and then the woman came and pretended to add up charges on her phone calculator.... well the $149 went to $1100.00 she said due to the dent/scratch removal. Ok my bad I should of never had them do the extra work but now it was too late so I gave her the money, but then she said there was a travel fee of $150 and $300 for a compound to fix the dents/scratches. At this point I just wanted them to leave as they made me feel very uncomfortable. She then basically said you owed them a tip which I said they could keep the change out of the $1600 that I gave them. The man told me not to remove the blue strips on the car until tomorrow as the compound needed to dry, but remove tomorrow and then take a towel and buff it. Later that evening I received a call from their office and the woman on the phone stated that they had used the wrong compound on the scratches and dents and that they would send someone else out the following day to take off the compound and put the correct one on. I asked her at this point how much it would cost me and she stated she didn’t know, she was just the scheduler. Also asked about a receipt and she stated she didn’t handle that.

So the next day, load and behold the same two people showed up and stated that the company gave them the wrong compound and now they had the correct one. Not knowing anything about dent/scratch repair I told them to go ahead and fix the mistake, never thinking I would have to pay for it again. The man completed the service and then the woman came collecting stating that another company National Detail Pros was the company responsible for the first compound and therefore they would refund the first amount $1600 and that I would have to pay their company $1900 for new compound and work completed. Kept asking for a receipt, said I would get one (which I never received) I only paid them again because they wouldn’t leave and again were making me feel very uncomfortable and they also hold your car keys while they do the work. My mistake and I know I’ll never see the money again, but I want to make sure that people are aware of these two scammers (thieves). I did tell them that I was going to call the police if no refund received.

Next day received a call from their office and they said the other company would Zelle the money to me, however she stated I had to send money to them for that to happen, I’m like I’m not giving your company any money and that I was calling the police. She got off the phone and spoke with someone and said that I had to send money and I said that would not happen and then she hung up on me. A few minutes later I received a call from someone else there stating that National Detail Pros would be issuing a check for the $1600 and I should have it this week. Also said she would send receipt (never received) and gave me National Detail Pros phone number. I did speak with them today and they had no idea about this company and that they have no record of owing a refund. Basically professional mobile detailing just made up the story and scammed me out of the money. Just beware because it appears they do this on a regular basis. I’m also contacting the ft Myers police department to make them aware of these two people.
