Try to make me think I owed money to a loan company treating to take me to court asking me to pay $3481.32 to avoid court and night fines sent me documents to sign and stated that the police would pick me up at my place of employment if I didn’t comply

I had a credit one credit card when I was 18 years old which was almost 20 years ago. Someone kept calling the service desk for my current employer harassing them about filing a complaint against me. They had multiple phone numbers listed; some local some toll free. I called the toll free number and the guy was very polite saying someone was trying to file papers on me several times about a credit card balance from almost 20 years ago. Ive yet to receive a call or anything in the mail about this. Ever. I hadn’t gotten any calls or voicemails on my personal phone. The man I talked to said they can change it from a court status to settlement if we came to a monetary agreement to pay the debt. No information was exchanged. They tried to scare me by calling my employer which is embarrassing even with it being a scam.
