The rental company agent reached out to me on facebook and claimed to be renting a master bedroom in a 2B2B apartment in San Francisco. They stole $2850 from me as payment for rent and deposit. Upon reaching there I found out that no such apartment exists. Instead, there are 1B1B apartments in the building. They even used the identity of a nurse from London as the other tenant. They assured me until the last minute that I will get the apartment keys upon reaching there but did not receive any calls upon my arrival.
