Prize Winner - Upfront Fees and Taxes Scam Reports & Reviews (1)

- Islip Terrace, NY, USA • May 10, 2023

Initially called by a Tony Ryan of Consumer Affairs telling me I won money and directed me to the website where i could look under active winners from Monumental give away corporation. I was told I won in 2012 and to claim the 3.5 million dollars i needed to have everything updated and give them $3500. When I told them I didn't have that they knocked it down to $1750 after saying they applied for government assistance, which the re-negged on and I gave them the total amount. I was told by a John Seba from Monumental that I need to pay the taxes on the interest accumulated which was $4890. I gave them that. They then e-mailed me a copy of a supposed wire transfer for the money and said that Bank of America would not let me access it unless I paid half of the wire transfer amounting to $6000. At that point, I realized it was a scam. The phone number Monumental give away I called is right on their website 8443360155. All payment was by bank checks. A bank check for $1750 and $4890 went to Altech SA LLC, 600 Epich way Suite 581 San Jose California, 95134, on April !4th and April !8th, respectively. On March 31, I sent 417509 to PDX Capital Solutions , 610 East Zack St,, accounts payable, Suite 110, Tampa Florida 33602
