My father was involved in a romance scam over the app called "silver singles."  It is a romance scam (they found him) from the dating website. The woman who scammed him used the name Regina Gibson, birthdate June 05, 1979 with a passport from Alabama. I'm sure it is all fake. She claimed to have an inheritance she needed help retrieving of 200 kg of gold being shipped in a trunk. After paying lots of money via a 3rd party wire transfer, my father was told they would need more money to retrieve the package from customs. They provided him with fake tracking numbers from what I believe is a fake company:  priorityshipping.com. They even impersonated a customs agent, and then a lawyer. Fake customs holdings papers were given to my father, death certificates of her father, fake passports, and more. I verified at the customs office that the customs document was fake.
