A man called my grandma saying they needed to deliver a summons to me. She sent me the number to call back. They said they were trying to take me t court for money I borrowed in 2016 (which I never borrowed any money). Stated that there was a lawyer involved and I would have to go to court and pay twice as much as was owed unless I could make arrangements to pay them. They also stated that if I went to court they would garnish 22% of my check. I agreed to make payments so they transferred me to the “accountant” and said that it was federally recorded line. At that time I googled the number and saw that it was a scam number so I hung up and blocked the number.

Especially when the information you have does not match the person you are calling. Someone is wasting their money.

I received a phone call from 517.858.9304 and the caller recited almost word-for-word what was mentioned above. The male caller identified himself as William Rogers from Priority Legal Caring Services in the voice mail that I received. He also gave the exact same phone number to call (866.312.2435). With the help of my local police department and an officer who let me use his "work" phone, we called 866.312.2435. The male who picked up my call did not identify himself nor identify the business. He asked me what number did William Rogers call (i.e. my phone number) which I said I would not provide because I thought this to be a scam -- and the male person at the other end quickly hung up on me. I hope this helps others.

A message was left on my recorder. Caller says he is Edward Flores from Priority Legal Caring Services and has a summons to serve me at my home or work in the next 24-48 hours. Says to have 2 pieces of ID ready. Please call back or press 1 to connect to the party who is serving the summons. BUT he never uses a name in the message. Since when do process servers call to warn you that you will be served a summons?

When I called the number back, I did not give my name I just stated that I had received a voicemail from them. He then stated my fiancé’s name (weird they called my phone instead of his) so when he got on the phone the man was telling him that he owed money on a vehicle that had been repossessed in 2011. He first asked for $4000 and them told him he could settle it for $2900. We didn’t pay anything because it seemed off and then I googled the phone and everything post about the company name and phone number states that it’s a scam.

Man stated he was from Priority Legal Services. He stated he would be showing up at my home or work with a court summons and I was to be prepared to show 2 forms of ID. If he came to my work then I needed a supervisor or security present to whitness. I did my research & did not return the call.
