The agent processed this information as 924 cubic feet at a price of $6734.00. When the movers arrived a day after the scheduled move date, the price ballooned to anywhere from $15500 to upwards of $22000.00. I contacted the company to cancel services and request a refund in which they refused. This company is a scam and should be avoided at all costs.

I was first contacted by Brooke Harris from Priority Home Relocation LLC. She told quoted me at $2300 for a move from California to Tennessee. She said that 50% deposit was due that day and then 50% of the remaining balance on pickup and then the rest of the balance on delivery. I paid the 50% deposit. We started at 300 cubic ft which was plenty for us. A few days later John Harris called me to try to sell me an extra 65 cubic ft for an extra $700 and at first i agreed that we may need the space. After measuring a 300 cubic ft space in our apartment we realized we were actually under the 300 so I called the very next day and cancelled the addition of the 65 cubic ft. I was also assured by John Harris that if we didnt use the space that the driver could adjust the price back down on pickup day. According to the driver he doesnt have the authority to do this. Brooke told me the first day on the phone that they are a family owned and operated business and assured us that our move would not be sub-contracted out. Another lie. So the day before the pick-up date I received a call from them saying that 70% of the remaining balance was due on pick-up. I informed them that we were told 50% by Brooke. The woman said "ok you can try to give them 50%." On pickup day the driver forced us to pay 90% of the remaining balance or they werent going to take our stuff. At the time I am writing this they have $2225 of the $2273 move and they still have our stuff. They also failed to mention that you need to provide boxes for the furniture that they disassemble. The driver Oleg or Olig tried charging me $52 for a used cardboard box to wrap a glass tv stand. I've tried contacting them several times and every time I get the run around. A woman named Sam was supposed to go to the warehouse 6 days ago to "see for herself" the unused space. I know for a fact we were under 300 cubic ft because we fit everything into a 288 cubic ft space that I measured. I feel like no matter what she finds out at the warehouse she is going to tell me that we used the space. This has been a nightmare from the beginning. I've cried every day since the pick-up date and wish I would have done more research on these scammers. I just want them to honor our original agreement so that we're not charged any extra when they are supposed to deliver our stuff. We should only owe them $48 and have all of the paperwork, e-mails, and recordings of phone calls with them and they also claim they record all phone calls. I tried calling yesterday and when I asked for Sam she said she'll call me back within an hour. I'm sure that it was Sam that answered and lied but gave her the benefit of the doubt and said ok. Its now 24hrs later and no one has returned my call. Almost a week from when she was supposed to call me back. This company is a scam! They will give you a reasonable quote at first and they know you will pay whatever they ask on moving day bc you're at their mercy. You either pay them what they want or they won't take your stuff and you lose your deposit. Also when they say that your stuff is fully insured, it's not. You will only get 60 cents per pound. So if they break my 10lb $500 tv they'll only pay out $6 max on it. I paid for stress-free moving and this is the farthest thing from it. Please do not make the same mistake I did.

This is super accurate. The same thing happened to us moving from the west to the east as well. They ended up removing our “insurance” that we paid for already because they wanted more money and we wouldn’t give it to them. Now our stuff has been in their hands for 7 days and we won’t get it for another 21 if not at all.
