I received a threatening phone call today from a supposed "process server" instructing me to contact this company about my case. According to the caller they were going to be waiting for me at my home and also come to my place of employment. When I called the phone number it was a supposed debt collector stating that they were suing me on behalf of Wells Fargo for a overdraft fee of $900 from back in 2010. First of all, I have no knowledge of this debt, 2nd I was not a wells Fargo customer in 2010 and 3rd being that I reside in California this would go beyond the legal statue of limitations which is currently 4yrs. The scammer then said they could make the fake lawsuit go away for $200!
