Contacted by text from a Texas area code 214 guy posing as an executive at legit company Prime Build hiring remote admin workers and was even using their website and names for verification. Company is in Australia, but used tactics of expanding US offices in Tampa. Online interview conducted and was offered the job within 24hrs. Sent me HR paperwork with letterhead and code of conduct file. Then sent me a check to deposit in my account for startup equipment. Imposter was very convincing, all pre-research checked, beware.
