The whole thing is legitimate. I had the same type of situation with a staffing company that had me interview with Nathan Lim form Apple, which is actually the recruiting director at Apple. It's supposed to be that Apple requires the entire team to be SCRUM certified, but in the end I don't know if I will be selected for the next round of interviews or not. Nathan did a legitimate interview with me, which included all you would expect in an interview.

I would be curious to know what else happened in your case.

The person, Aaron Mendes, who had an Indian accent called me with a job for Amazon - job description etc below. It was very sketchy from the beginning and tried to get me to be a scrum master immediately to bolster my resume. The link they sent me to get Scrum was with Learning Era at https://online.vmedu.com/courses/manage-course-subscriptions. That company appears to be legitimate and unsure how the two connect. The cost for Scrum was $699 which is what it costs and a person Nora Bains at [email protected] had a discussion with me and the company seemed legitimate (https://online.vmedu.com/courses/manage-course-subscriptions) and I am curious if they are or not? Aaron set me up with an interview at 11am EST on 17 Jan... nothing heard. What is odd is that an email and phone thread was made and seemed to put a lot of effort into this and I am unsure what benefit they would get????

Aaron is still doing the same thing - I just got scammed to be a Scrum Product Owner certification. The training is not as expected. Are the certificates legal?
