Started this nightmare back in September when we were trying to move out of an apartment from hell and into our new home. We tried to do uhaul, crate movers like pack rat and the like but everyone was booked up past our move out date. So we started looking at movers and i did the usual tricks to make them sweeten the deal with talking about shopping around. We got them down to what we wanted and figured we would pull the trigger. Pickup turned into a nightmare as they scammed us on the numbers almost doubling the quote after we hand counted and measured every box and pieces of furniture that we had to give them an exact amount of volume. We has to abandon my couch, nightstands and bookshelves. They even had the audacity to claim that we didn't pack any items. After screaming at them about then trying to scam us they backed off and continued the move. We asked for the delivery date to be in early November in October as we had finalized the deal on a house. Week after week I was lied to and week after week my stuff was not being delivered. Everything was stolen after 2 months of constant calling. Smart Van Lines LLC filed a police report. So my world is completely upside down. Made a gofundme to try and offset some expenses as we are starting from scratch at this point https://gofund.me/ed84b478 . Don't know if it's okay to share it here but NEVER deal with these scammers ever. We have lost around $40,000 and priceless items.

I called this person to get information about moving costs using their company. I wasn't looking to move for about 6 months. I couldn't afford to make the reservation, just wanted information. The man I spoke to was so kind and appeared to be helpful. Although it was only December when I called, he convinced me that I needed to book a reservation now so that I would be certain to get what I needed. He spoke to me at length, pretending to be a caring Christian. Before I knew it he was having me go over all the belongings I would have to move. Then he proceeded to advise me to make my reservation "now" because they fill up quickly. It didn't occur to me that if I made a deposit I would not get it all back if I had to cancel. I have early dementia so am not as sharp as I used to be. To make a long story short, he got $2522 to hold my reservation with no warnings that if I wasn't able to use their service, I would lose a great portion of my deposit. In mid January, it became obvious that I would not be able to make the move. When I called to cancel, I was told that it was too late for me to get a full refund and they had set up a date to move in January! They did nothing for me for the $1126 they kept. I called for information and got fleeced.

Call your bank/credit card company and report as fraud. It worked for me! Best of luck?.

I canceled my move and I was told that I would receive half of my refund within 1-9 days. It’s been two months now and I still have not received any refund. I tried to call and they do not respond or pick up. My contract stated 1-9 days in October . I have reached out to an attorney and will now bring this matter into court. These guys are scammers and lie to people.

The same thing happened to me. They kept giving me excuses as to why my refund check was late. I would call your bank or credit card company and file a fraud transaction case. They should be able to refund your money. It worked for me.

Hi Cathi , Thanks for sharing your experience, I got scam from them too and they still haven’t refunded my 50% deposit, I really want to sue them I wish We all can get together and sue this company ! They ignore my phone and emails ! So frustrating!

THEFT/FRAUDULENT BEHAVIOR: I hired a moving company(Priceline Logistics) on 9/20/21 to move my things from NYC to Palm Beach Gardens. They did a poor job picking up the items in NYC, after I paid them and signed a contract. I was told it would arrive on 10/5/21. It was not delivered because of a delay and I was told it would arrive on 10/13/21. They delivered the wrong items on 10/13/21, and told me that they accidentally delivered my things to another person. I was told that the correct items would be delivered on 10/19/21. On 10/19/21, they delivered the wrong items again, and also took $900 in cash from my mother. I was told that the correct items were in storage and would be delivered 10/25/21. They were not delivered and no one from Priceline logistics will return my calls. The mover they contracted to deliver the items called me and let me know that because of issues, they would now be delivering it today 10/26/21. This did not happen and Priceline logistics would not answer my calls. Finally, I was told by the contracted mover that the items were delivered to someone else, and they could not get ahold of them. I have emails, text messages, and phone logs proving all of the information provided above. The truck driving company is Angelina Lines, I have not been able to get in contact with them either.

Priceline Logistics, LLC originally quoted us $6,235.22 on July 19, 2021 to move from FL to PA, and we gave them a $2,061.15 deposit to lock in a move date of Aug 18. The contact name there was **** *, Senior Relocation Specialist. On Aug 11, I received an email from ***** *, Senior Relocation Specialist stating he wanted to do a "final review of all your items". I responded with an email stating that I had been corresponding several times with **** & he promised me the quote he gave me is very accurate and there would be no additional charges beyond his quote EXCEPT if we decided to take the washer and dryer; he said there would be no extra charge unless there was too little space on the truck, then they would charge $50 or less....**** kept telling me we had the "platinum pack" which covered all that. I asked ***** to confirm the FINAL amount I would be paying. I did not hear back from ***** so I took photos of all the contents we would be moving & emailed them to ***** on August 16. They then said it would be $8,439.09 to move us and we had to give them another $1,000 deposit! This was 2 days before the packers were supposed to arrive. The day the packers & truck came, the driver "*****" came into our house, said the move would cost us over $8,000; it would be A LOT MORE! There we were, the house ready to pack & move, & they pulled this scam on us! After arguing, they said they could move us for $20,000!!!!! We said NO WAY, & they left. We had to hire people to help us pack, then we rented a U-haul truck, & moved ourselves from FL to PA. We had put the $3,061.15 deposit on our credit card, and tried to stop them from getting it, but they kept the money! They said we "refused" their services, & their contract said if we refused they could keep the deposit! Of course we didn't use them!....they went from a quote of $6235 up to $22000! We have contacted the sheriffs department to alert them about the scam but we would like our deposit back. They did NOTHING for us!

Similar thing happened to me. I would call your bank or credit card company and file a fraud transaction case. They should be able to refund your money. It worked for me. Good luck!

Person I know was set to move in about a month and put phone number into a site online to get moving quotes. Don't do this! Scammers will call you with affordable quotes, tell you the other companies you researched are not reputable, and that they will take care of you--they won't. They will take over $2000 from you and tell you if you want to cancel you can get your full deposit back--you won't. Their policy online states that if you cancel within 72 hours of reservation you will get a full refund.

When they called to cancel they got transferred to the head scammer Blake, who strong arms people and takes advantage of them.

When they said they found a new moving option and would like to cancel he said he wanted to know why and who they chose. Blake kept pushing and refused to give the full refund even through they were in the window of cancellation.

Blake's reasoning for not giving a full refund was that they had a moving truck on the way and put the other half to pay for the truck. That didn't make sense because on the phone when making the reservation he stated they had a truck coming this way anyway for a different move.

The customer eventually gave in because they at least wanted some of their money back. However before he could get the money back he had to sign a document stating he would not come after the "business" for this dispute.

The authorities need to shut this scam down. People should not be taken advantage of like this. There are horror stories online of people who went through with this and had their valuables put in storage and essentially blackmailed until they paid even more money than what was quoted. It's rediculus. Take this scam out, please!

(Another scam email is [email protected], this is the email they used to send the DocuSign agreement to the person I know.)

This company is a fraud! They change the price when they arrive. They outsource to a another moving Shady company called Smart Van Lines which is full of crooks.they were 3 days late for our pick up date-no apologies. We paid extra for a 4 wheeler and an antique 1974 Vespa primavera to be delivered. They said that it was going to be “crated and taken care of” this mouth breathers don’t even know the value of such antiquity. When our stuff arrived they demanded the reminder of the payment in cash or money order. They would not lift the door not even for us to verify that was our stuff. When they lifted the door the Vespa was thrown like a piece of garbage buried with smashed boxes all around it. Almost every box I opened things were broken even though they had been meticulously wrapped with bubble wrap. Even a frying pan was bent! Our leather couches were all had tears! We had half of our stuff missing! The first boxes being off loaded weren’t even ours! Should I continue? Oh yes our sleep number bed was missing. Today Smart Van Lines is suppose to drop off the “reminder” of our stuff. We’ll see I’m not holding my breath. The driver called me and was rude as hell. No one takes accountability Priceline blames Smart Van lines. Smart Van Lines tells us to call Priceline. They charged us over $10,000 of initial quote for a garbage service. They are incompetent at their job below are pictures of how the stuff arrived

WORST Moving Brokers ever. Travis Joseph is a lying SNAKE. Billy Joseph is not much better, also rude. Richard with customer service was downright nasty and insulting. Picked up on 5/18, as of 7/12 (7 weeks, 36 business days) they still will not give me even estimated delivery date. I have left messages with "relocation specialists" no one has called me back. Customer service is not much better, have to call numerous times to even get one to answer the phone and they are NOT helpful or friendly. If no one answers it says the mailbox is full, it has been like that for weeks. No one calls you back, there is NO communication on their end. DO NOT USE they are a FRAUD. 1 week after posting bad reviews on every moving site I could find, Diane, from Priceline actually called me, she claims she is some kind of “supervisor” even though I have asked to speak to a supervisor many times before this. They still have no estimated delivery date & cannot tell me where my things are or how they are being stored. Offered me $500 compensation to edit my reviews. I told them that wasn’t worth my time.
Wanting me to change my reviews for measly $500 out of $6,800 & STILL cannot tell me when I will have my things. Sound like a good deal to you? This company is full of LIARS. They get your business with a low ball offer to get your deposit by a “tariff discount” of 60% which then the moving company charges you at pick up. Who ever owns this company and its sales people are criminals that should be put in jail.

+2

I completely understand. I have dealt with all the names you mention, and many more. I cancelled my move well within contractural guidelines and all I have gotten for nearly 2 months is a frustrating labyrinth of deception, misinformation, lies and abhorrent manipulation.

We need to come together, people, and file a class action lawsuit. This company deserves nothing less than to be driven out of business.
