Prescription Hope Reports & Reviews (13)

I have been with prescription hope for 2 years. They did send me the paperwork, I filled out my part and then took it to my MD for them to fill our the actual prescription and faxed it in. They received the fax and at the time I was getting 2 prescriptions. Both of them together were over $800 with my medicare advantage or Good RX. Prescription Hope asked me to get a quote of the prices from my pharmacy, which I did. Sent it to them. They deducted $100 from my account and within a few weeks I had my medication. Since then I have cancelled one prescription as I no longer needed it. I have always been able to get ahold of a "human" there. The staff has been very nice and helpful and when I asked that they remove the one prescription, they did and nothing more was charged for it. I'm still getting one medication from them costing me $50 a month. That is a $450 savings in my book! One day the medication will go generic and then I can get it from Good RX. I'm totally appreciative the prescription hope, without them I couldn't afford this diabetic medication.
So sorry so many people has issues.

My experience was the same as others’ on here, regarding “Prescription Hope”. I was told that this company was going to assist in me getting an expensive medication for $50, only if the I qualified for the program, and had my doctor fill in the prescription paperwork.

However, I was immediately charged $50 with NO product or service received!

Moreover, the company continued to charge me $50 per month, dispute my repeated efforts to call and talk to someone at the company. I held for over an hour, only to be disconnected. Later on, their phone system did not answer at all, because of Covid.

Total scam! Beware!!!

“What If I Am Not Approved

If you are not approved Prescription Hope will not charge you anything and you will have to continue to receive your medication through your current access.”

This is what they say on their website; but they charge you right away whether you get meds or not

They say they offer help get diabetic medication for monthly rate but when my doctor said I didn't need it and asked them to cancel and refund they did not. Total greedy scammers

Prescription Hope offers for $50 month per medication delivery to your home as prescribed. The customer service agents are trained to deliver excuses and request additional documents when calling to find out about my missing shipment.

Do not trust this service. Go directly to drug manufacturers.

This company charges $50 a month per medication to help patients fill out applications to get free medications from the medication companies. While this is not illegal to do, they are LYING on the applications to get the patient approved. My patient told them that she had insurance, and they said they would correct it on the application. They did not correct it. If they were an honest company, when they told her they would correct it, they would have also asked her for proof that she has spent 2% of her annual income on medications since January 1st, since that is the requirement for this particular medication company for patients with insurance to qualify. This tells me they had NO INTENTION of correcting it. This was not the first time this has happened, so I can imagine they do this all the time. This is fraud. The patients just think they are filling things out like they should, and they are the ones that will suffer in the end because it's their signature on the application.

Prescription Hope is a company based out of Stuart FL. They claim they help low income people obtain expensive medicine for 50.00 a month. They obtain all your personal info including W-2 forms and tell you not to have any action with the pharmaceutical company if they ask for any information. They take your credit card info and debit 50.00 at the first of every month even after they know you are not going to receive any medication. The website is a total scam where they say to go for update. You will spend endless time on hold and never talk to the same person. They will ask you to send information and then claim they never received it. This action is taken to delay until they can draw as much from you as possible. As soon as they realize you know it is a scam they get real nasty. They led me along for 3 months and I had to cancel my credit card to keep them from stealing any more money. I knew this was too good to be true and it was verified when I talked to GSK PHARMACEUTICAL AND THEY STATED NEVER USE PEOPLE LIKE THIS TO RECEIVE OUR MEDICATIONS. I find it hard to believe that these scam artists are still in business and no attorney general has ever looked into these people. It is one thing to scam people but to take advantage of the elderly and sick , where there is a special place in hell for these people!

In Aug. I signed up with them. They charge $50.00 a month to get your prescription from the the manufacture, medication would be free. They do the paper work for you to receive medication free. They faxed a package of forms to my doctor three times and my doctor faxed them back. Prescription Hope claims they never received them. When calling to check on things I held on for 2 hours once only to be disconnected. When you call now the recording states closed due to Covid apply online. My card was charged 3 times $50.00 for nothing.

I thought I was signing up for A program to assist me with my monthly prescription costs. They required a $50 fee upfront which I paid, then they took another $50 monthly fee for my prescription which was never received. At that point, I canceled my credit card to stop them from taking any more money. I received a letter stating I owe them for the month of October. However, I have yet to receive any medications as promised. They have massive personal information about me from the application process which is another major concern. I want to file a complaint against this company.

I initially discovered Prescription Hope while looking for a savings program similar to GoodRX. Prescription Hope promises to deliver medication for only $50, I began the application but when I realized that it was not actually going to work with my insurance, I decided not to complete it. Unfortunately, they had already drafted the $50 for pre-approval and gave no option to withdraw the application via the website. They also do not have an email address, a working contact form, or live phone agents. They have continued billing me although they have never given me any services, and the application was not actually completed. Internet reviews, if they are to be trusted, reveal that many customers have been similarly robbed by this scheme, and no one has produced evidence that Prescription Hope actually delivers the services they claim to.

They claim to get you medication at a discount through the manufacturers by filling out paperwork and advocating on your behalf and charge a 50 dollar fee per month for each prescription taken from your credit/debit card which is required on the application. The prescription from your doctor and the information on their application is all that is needed to apply to the patient assistant programs that the manufacturers have FOR FREE by yourself or with a patient advocate thru a hospital or doctors office. Myself nor my doctor sent them ANY requested documents to complete the application to the manufacturers and I received NO medication, yet they started charging my card 50 dollars a month until I caught it. When I cancelled my card they continued requesting the needed documents and new card number saying that me not responding does not dis enroll me in their program. They claim to be able to do something you can do for free with a patient advocate or by yourself and took my money for doing absolutely nothing and still claim I am enrolled in a program I decided I didn't want to be a part of.

This company sent me information after i requested to find out about low cost diabetes products, i sent them my information and my doctor filled it out as well, since then they have charged me $50 for 3 months of medication, so $150 total and said they will send the medication, after 3 months there has been none received by me or my doctor, on the website i cannot contact them via email they can only send it out, when i call i end up on hold for 30 mins with no answer and i have had to dispute the charges with my bank as well no one will get in touch with me so i am reporting them and including screen shots of the billing and what it says so this can be stopped!
