Pet scam: we contacted someone to buy a cavapoo puppy, he said his name was Kevin Willis, we only communicated by text messages. He answered all my questions in detail, sent me additional pictures of the puppy. I paid with Zelle He also suggested the cash app, but both are unsafe to use (it’s seen as a cash transaction). I received a tracking number to follow the courier service that will bring the puppy from Colorado Springs to Chicago. By then I have already paid for the puppy in full and the courier service, then all of a sudden they wanted a ‘fully refundable pet insurance’ fee for the courier service and that was when I knew we have been scammed. I said I won’t pay another cent until the puppy arrives, he said that’s too bad and then I said I wanted a full refund which he gladly agreed to, but of course I never got it. He keeps communicating with me. He used the name Kevin Willis, when we were communicating, but I paid the money to a Elijah Moore with Zelle, and then he also used a different email address: [email protected]. The website is premuim cavapoos, they use a fake courier service that is called delta express couriers inc.
