I got a offer to take a survey for Lowes which offered a free fitness tracker and was told all I had to do was pay shipping . Then I noticed on my credit card they charged me almost a hundred dollars. I was told if I shipped it back I would get my money back. After sending it back ,I never could get a hold of anyone and I lost just over a $100.00

I made a purchase for $200 at Lowes. Shortly after the purchase, I received what I thought was a customer survey. I took the time to answer the questionnaire because I had a concern. At the end of the questionnaire, I was offered a free gift which required me to only pay the shipping cost of $6.69. I selected a fitness tracker and provided my credit card information for the shipping charge payable to Premium Selection Goods. On March 17th, I was checking my credit card account and noticed a charge was being processed in the amount of $95.69. I immediately called the credit card company to report this charge as unauthorized. The charge was from a company named Giant Spleda Ord Depot Card; however, a search on the Internet does not display any information on this company or any company close to this possible charge. The credit card company is investigating this charge and has suggested that this was a scam. This charge was apparently for the fitness tracker that was supposed to be "free". I could have purchased this exact same fitness tracker on Amazon for $25.
