It was a phishing email telling me they found my resume on indeed and they thought I would be a good fit for their job. They told me even though I had no experience that I could be a transfer control clerk because it was easy and had a good salary. After a week they made me give them some info and had me sign documents that allowed me to work for them. It seemed to good to be true which is what led me to do some research. I saw that this was a common scam with different names and people. I felt that maybe it was still legit since they never asked for any info like my SSN or credit card info. I asked if I would get a company credit card and cache when I started. They told me I would be given a company account after going through the “probationary period”. They then asked me to use my own credit card and bank account and for me to give them that info. That’s when I decided that it’s definitely a scam. No real company would ever ask you to use your own credit card and cache. I don’t even have a credit card or bank account yet. If the deal seems too good to be true, then it probably is.
