The scammer was very responsive. We communicated via phone and email. He suggested we make payment through Zelle which is an accredited electronic transfer of money. When we tried to transfer the money through Zelle he gave us an email address of [email protected]. Since Zelle had a weekly limit under the price of the puppy we purchased American Express gift cards and sent a picture of the receipt and the front and back of both cards. He required $500 on one and $300 on the other. All other email communication was through [email protected]. We needed the puppy shipped and he was doing so through Express Frigori Logistics. My husband researched both websites and everything looked legit. Just wish we would have researched pet scams before being scammed rather than after. They promised to ship the next day. That morning we received an email requesting $1300 more for shots (transportation regulations), however, we were to pay the Seller and not through the transportation company.
