I was looking for a Corgi Puppy and this site Corgipreciouspuppies.com came up. After a few days of looking I decided to contact this website. I emailed the alleged breeders and was told to put 400 to reserve my puppy. They gave me the information for a money order and I sent it. 3 months later I went to check on the site to see if the puppies had been posted and saw multiple articles on how this site was a scam and they scammed multiple other people. The site is now offline.

This scam has a great looking website, claiming to be a small breeder in Ohio. I inquired first by email about adopting a corgi puppy. They wanted background information such as my name, where I lived, etc. I told them I wanted to talk to them on the phone and not through text message because he said he accepts Western Union or MoneyGram for a deposit for the puppy (it was very sketchy). They called me and I was talking to someone who said he was "Chris Whitaker". He would not describe his company and told me it's "all online". I called him out for trying to scam me and he began to call me stupid and wished black magic on me, then said he was calling the cops on me after I reported him. I did not give him any of my money, however I can see how people could be easily scammed. He's used other names, claimed to sell other dogs, he changes his address, phone number, and website around as I've seen from other reports on the BBB.

went to a very legitimate website corgipreciouspuppies.com, Chris Putt, or what I thought was one and expressed interest in a puppy. immediately got an email response and corresponded via text and email. they said the cost was $700 with $100 for shipping. and that I could receive the puppy same day from Ohio to Georgia. we've been suffering the loss of our precious corgi and on those rare emotions we did not use our head and watch for the warnings. now I'm seeing how many signs I missed. After the purchase the courier called and set up delivery time. about 2 hours later we received an email stating that due to weather we needed to purchase an all climate crate. the highest cost being $1800 lowest being $980 and that we only could send money via western union and that they would give a full refund at the door. please be aware of all these frauds. I was so naive to the professionalism of the website, contract, emails. that I missed all the warnings.

Searched for corgi puppies for sale near me and precious corgis came up. We texted this person and said we needed to put a 350 deposit down on the puppy so we did through a money order, didn’t think anything of it at the time. We were going to pick up the puppy the week after and the guy said he needed another 350 in order to see the puppy which raised some questions and we went on the ScamPulse.com website come to find out there was about 5 other scams reported about this “business”.
