My wife had the same bad experience, since the word TSA in their *.com website led consumers to believe that they were in some way affiliated to the TSA Federal government *.gov website. On top of what they charged she had to pay an additional charge of nearly $80. Had they clearly put a BIG AND BOLD disclaimer statement in their launch page, we would not have had this issue. We plan to dispute the credit card charge and file a complaint to the US attorney and FBi having jurisdiction in the area where they do business and also the Federal Trade Commission and the connected State Consumer Protection Agency having oversight in this matter. Sure it's takes a little time, but, in addition to our own interests I consider my action a community service also, that puts such businesses on notice that it's not worth it considering that they are wide open to civil and criminal charges in MULTIPLE states. I hope they understand that.

This company gives you the impression that you are on the legit TSA website and charges you 149, despite they are not TSA at all. I hope they will be taken down and fined for their scam.

https://pretsa-pass.com/ is a scam website that operates under many names including https://pre-travel-application.com/. They deliberately impersonate the TSA website.

They charge you $149 to fill out a tsa form, which you can do for free. This is in addition to the $85 that TSA will actually charge you for the application. This is a total and complete scam .

They charge you $149.95 to schedule an appointment with TSA, which you can do for free. This is in addition to the $85 that TSA will charge you to process your application.

There is zero chance that this scammy company is storing information in a safe manner, so now i have to worry about identity theft on top of the $150 down the hole.

Also when i asked for a refund they threatened me with a collections agency. they need to go to prison.

My wife and I sought to arrange our TSA Pre-Check and Global Entry passes. We were mis-directed to www.Pretsa-pass-com. We completed their registration and provided personal information including all of our US Passport and Credit Card Information. We were charged $149.95 twice, once for each of us. The charges went through on our American Express Card, which we use thinking that American Express would give us an additional layer of protection from dishonest merchants. After the credit card charge went through we were given an appointment of our convenience with TSA in Dublin GA to process for our TSA Pre Check and Global Entry. Three times on different weeks and the day before our scheduled and rescheduled appointments, we received notifications from Pretsa-pass.com that our appointments at TSA was cancelled. We called Pretsa-pass.com and we’re told they did not know what happened (leading us to believe it was on TSA who cancelled the appointments. Finally we just went to the TSA PreCheck Office in Dublin GA and got right in! When we advised TSA that we had already paid our fee, they told us our payment to www.press-pass.com was a S-C-A-M! TSA PreCheck never requests payment in advance. All financial transactions are done in their office when you process. But this was 3 weeks after we had made our charge on American Express.

Our second disappointment was with “ole faithful,” American Express! They did not provide us with the level of Fraud-Scam Protection we expected! They actually sided with Pretsa-pass.com! American Express advised that since we did not notify them of the scam charges within 3 days of making the charge, they were impotent to do anything. (And “impotent” is a term I intentionally chose to use!). The SCAMMERS didn’t notify me of my first cancelled TSA appointment until a week after I made the charges! Then there were 2 more misrepresentations of their having booked our TSA appointments! So Pretsa-pass.com just played my wife and I until the period to cancel the order was expired! Look up www.pretsa-pass.com. They are a ghost on the Web!

So I have dealt with Pretsa-Pass.com for only one experience and have been a loyal American Express customer for 30+ years. Between them I cannot tell a difference. Both are just part of a bad Internet Experience. I advise anyone who reads this Post to use neither one of them! They are just “Peas out of the same pod.”

I wanted to set an appointment to register for a TSA airline entry. I gave my personal information and was requested to pay with my credit card $149.95 in order for them to fill out the application I filled out. They then scheduled me an appointment on the date that I requested. When I discovered it was not a legitimate website, I called them and told them I did not need their services and to take their charge off my credit card. It is not a secure site!

This business does not provide anything, but charges $149.95. You think it's the government charging you to setup an appointment for a pre-TSA pass, but you can just walk up to the IdentoGO office for free. I thought it was for a government agency, so I filled out information that is now exposing me to identity fraud. I don't know where my info ended up...
