Had a call from a private number so I don't have a phone number for you. Said I had won $2,5 million and a Lincoln from Publisher Clearing House all I had to do was send him $298.99 FOR A TREASURY STAMP and the prize awards team would call me and arrange to meet an award me the check. The connection over the phone was poor, sounded like he was in a windy area. Said he was in Asheville N.C. looking for me. I live in Little River, S.C. but years back I did live in Asheville. He had an accent can't tell you from where but sounded like Indian from India or perhaps a Spanish accent hard to tell with the wind. I actually called him a fraud and refused to give him my debit card number or mail a check or a money order. He argued with me that he was honest. I told him I had the money on me,$298.88 then I hung up. He called me back 5 times trying to get me to send the money. Incredible. He finally called me on his cell phone, here's the number....876-284-4116 said his name was John Cooper with the Treasury Department. Had a call like this a few months back from a guy said he was in the Myrtle Beach area looking for because I had won a car from Publisher Clearing House. Incredible again because I have not entered these contests either time.
