This is false representation. They are trying to sway legislation on SB715 that is to make sure that every energy is receiving subsidies based on what energy they actually produce. Currently renewables are receiving the same as nuclear, gas, and coal when they do not produce the same. This entity is trying to stop this due to profits they earn from these builds in renewables. Additionally, the texas grid is more likely to collapse if they do not stop swarming the grid with these intertmitten energy sources. I will attach sources for evidence of this. This is called out by both experts in the united states as well as other countries after the iberian blackout recently in spain. They are misrpresenting the grid, its energy, and what texas needs for monetary gain. They are attempting to sway people to stop this bill stating that it will cause their cost of electricity to go up if they do not. That is a lie and very much inaccurate. If anything the every day persons expenses would go down bc they would not be taxed as much to pay BILLIONS for net zero energy.
