Today I placed an online order at powdervalleyinc.org and was told my order was on hold pending payment through Venmo. I noticed there was no way to cancel the order online. I decided to call with a question. I dialed the number at the top of the screen 520-329-2374 and received a busy signal. Under "contact us" I found a different number 913-362-9455 and noticed the business location listed as "CA." I knew the company was located in Kansas so I looked up Powder Valley again and found the real company and called them in Kansas. The woman who answered said their website is .com not .org and said they don't accept Venmo payments. She also said that several other customers had been caught up by the spam site. When I did a reverse lookup by the CA number they listed (913-362-9455), it is the phone number listed for at least two other companies in Kansas: Accurate Reloading Powders and Ramshot Reloading Powders. I don't believe they can get any money from me, because if they send a Venmo invoice and I won't pay it, but now they have my name, address, email address, and phone number!
