Initiated contact with seller on 10/2/2020 via website email via https://pottytrainedshepherd.com/available-puppies.html in regards to purchase of a German Shepherd puppy, Ella. Primarily all communication has been via email. The website contains various puppies for sale. All pictures have different backgrounds, puppies are all the same age but obviously from different litters due to breeds/colors offered, and website only offers email communication. No physical address or phone number on site. This seemed odd but initiated contact with them as we were interested in the pup. The initial email response to our inquiry was system generated, and full of misspelled words and disjointed English. However, we pursued desire of puppy purchase and provided a response to the questions asked. I asked for puppy pics and received several. All seemed to be legit but still had my radar up. We received the bill of sale electronically on 10/4/2020, signed and returned it. After looking at the seller signature name (Richard Ross), the electronic signature didn't seem to match the name but was mostly illegible. We then continued to correspond via email regarding where to submit payment, etc. Seller emailed Zelle payment info - seller Zelle pmt info is [email protected]. We asked again for a picture of the puppy and the momma and seller sent us a short video of the puppy but never sent us the momma dog picture. With the vagueness of seller responses to email request, prior to submitting the $800 fee, we decided to research seller/website feedback reviews, especially after seller called us back on 10/4/2020 and found the call suspicious. We then found a report from ScamPulse.com stating site was a scam at https://puppyscam.com/germanshepherds/pottytrainedshepherd-com-germanshepherds-b...⇄ We then initiated additional email questions and placed a call to the seller at 706-775-8131. the phone number was on the bill of sale along with the name of Richard Ross, 803 Baugh Springs Ln, Lawrenceville GA 30044. The call went to vms and Ross, my husband, left message left. The seller called him back and spoke in very broken English, assumed of Iranian or Indian decent. All he said is how to pay sent in email. After reading feedback about site online, in addition to above site we found this site as well will feedback/review info; https://www.scampulse.com/potty-trained-shepherd-reviews , we initiated another email to the seller asking for vaccination documentation, AKC information, pictures of the momma dog and asked to see the puppy in person. I lied in the email and said my daughter would be in Georgia and could see the puppy on Tuesday and asked for meeting arrangement info. At that time all seller email communication ceased, and this is exactly what another compliantant had said in the review. So, no payment will be submitted but this is obliviously a scam website set out to steal money from people looking for puppy purchase. I have all emails saved and can send them if there is a way to submit them online or through a designated email.
