Filled out an application on indeed, was contacted, briefed on job description, and interviewed, was contacted a few hours later saying I was being offered the job. Everything had seemed legitimate until they started with the whole "we'll send you a check to pay to install software" line. At that point I reached out to the company's HR department found online and they confirmed it was a scam.
